Mission Statement

We are a group of active young adults who want our voices to be heard in the community and the mental health system.

• To advocate for youth mental health issues.

• To eliminate barriers and gain more resources.

Youth Taking The Lead

We recognize the difficulty being a teenager in today’s world. While that alone is challenging; being a teen with unique emotional and behavioral challenges is just that much more difficult.

Our participation in the Hudson County Youth Partnership has given us the opportunity to be with others who know and understand these unique challenges through personal, first hand experiences. It provides us with a place to go where we feel comfortable, safe, and accepted.

Through positive and supportive peer and adult relationships we have come to discover not only that we can make it in the world, but also that we can make a contribution to it, too!

This discovery has led us toward three aims: to support and encourage one another; to educate ourselves about our unique challenges; and to increase community awareness about teen mental health issues...and, to have fun along the way!
